Tutoring is available to students from specialist teachers to promote deeper understanding and time for practicing skills. 

Students receive help in preparing for tasks and developing skills in interpreting and answering examination-style questions. Time is also allocated to supporting and clarifying concepts that have caused difficulty in class. 

Additionally, some students may receive invitations to be involved in Co-curricular Academic Services that either support or extend their learning.

Homework Support Group

Homework Support Group is an opportunity for students, Years 2 - Years 6, to complete their written home learning tasks with support from a teacher or teacher-librarian.

Academic Plus Tutoring

Tutoring sessions offered include:

  • Year 7 and 8: English, Mathematics and Assessment and Homework Organisation
  • Year 9 and 10: Maths and English
  • Year 11: Advanced Maths, Standard Maths, Biology, Chemistry, Drama, Software Design (combined with Y12), Advanced English, Standard English, Physics, Language
  • Year 12: Advanced Maths, Standard Maths, Biology, Agriculture, Chemistry, Drama, Legal Studies, Software Design, Business Studies, Advanced English, English,
    Physics, Language

 

Academic Enrichment

Throughout the course of the year, some students may receive invitations to be involved in Co-curricular Academic Services that either support or extend your child. This includes:
