What is your recruitment process?
HVGS advertises job vacancies on our website, SEEK, LinkedIn, the IB Careers Pages, and the AISNSW job site. If you find a role that matches your skills and experience, you can apply through the Current Vacancies page on our website.
Our HR team will review applications and typically conduct an initial phone conversation with shortlisted candidates. If we believe you could be a great fit, we will invite you for an interview. Depending on the role and the hiring manager, you can generally expect to hear back from us within two weeks of your interview.
Working with Children Check + Child Safety
At HVGS, the safety and wellbeing of children is our top priority. That’s why every staff member must hold a valid Working With Children Check (WWCC).
How to apply for a Working With Children Check:
- Complete the online form at The Children's Guardian website.
- Take your application number to a Service NSW office, pay the fee (if applicable) and verify your identity with appropriate identification.
- Share your Working With Children Check or application number with our team.
- Our team will verify your WWCC if you are the preferred candidate.
